MUSIC VIDEO - Plan for images to be used on the website

Plan for images to be used on the website:

  • The first image I will use will be a close-up of Hattie with a 'black eye', which will be created using make-up. This close-up will also feature the seafront in the background on a clear sunset night, however it will be blurred to focus attention on Hattie's face and black-eye to highlight the struggles LGBTQ members face 
  • Another image which will be used will be a picture of a sunset with the brand logo but it will be blurred like a fuzzy TV screen, like the image below. This will cut off the video once it is finished and it will be used to highlight the unpredictable nature of homophobic attacks.

  • Another image used will be a close-up of Hattie and Eve together hugging each other, one touching the others face. This will be used to represent they are happy being who they are and are proud of it despite what has happened in the video
  • The next image I plan to use will be a picture of Hattie and Eve holding hands with their backs against the camera looking out into the sunset. They will be blurred a little but it gives the viewer piece of mind, knowing they are safe.

Full textual analysis of a magazine website The Big Issue  This Home page displays a menu bar with a slideshow that changes to show different stories after 5 seconds. The story currently is based on Captain Tom Moore, a man who recently walked in his back garden to raise money for charity, in doing so raised over £33 million and has been dubbed a knighthood.  Additionally, The colour scheme is a broad red colour which can be seen throughout both their website, magazine and logo. The use of the red colour background on white text, really emphasises the text and allows it to stand out to a user and also fits with their logo. The typography used is very neat and easy to read meaning it appeals to as many people as possible. Website builder

  Website builder As I am an A-Level ICT student I am somewhat up to date with technology and I am usually quick to pick up new technology. With this being said I have decided to use the website builder WIX.com. This is based on a number of factors mainly due to, however, the simplicity of the software. There is an option to chat with a professional if I am unsure of what to do, this is a great help as it will allow me to work remotely and spend more time developing it. Additionally, all tools and functions are neatly displayed on the left-hand side. I cannot stress the simplicity of this website and its functions. It is incredibly user friendly with the easy and helpful templates as well as features such as borders, shapes, text and image editing. WIX.com is a website builder with the aim of creating the user a professional and well-organised website, hence why I have chosen this.
